Pastor Ron Lemon

Pastor and Founder of Koinonia Christian Fellowship of Frewsburg, NY since July 1999.  Married to wife Sheila (Wiltsie) Lemon since June 2, 1984 and they have three children and four grandchildren; Daughter, Latasia Young and her son, Cameron Young; Son, Ryan (Bri) Lemon and their son, Raymond Lemon; and Daughter Katie (Alex) Wissman and their son, Roman Wissman and their newest addition scheduled to arrive in April.  Pastor Ron was born again by grace through faith at 8 years of age.  He received the call of God to the ministry when he was 12 years old. As a Prodigal Son at 19 years of age, he had a distinct encounter with the Holy Spirit, leading him back to the path to which God had called him. He attended and completed one year of Bible School at the Community Christian Training Center in Olean, NY and was Licensed with Calvary Ministries International (CMI) in 2001 and Ordained in 2004 with CMI Global which is headquartered in Ft. Wayne, IN.

 

Pastor Ron has driven a school bus for Frewsburg Central School since 2004 and retired from the  Chautauqua County Legislator in 2017. Being a Bi-vocational Pastor has afforded him many opportunities to serve the Lord.

 

Pastor Ron is a  Lover of the Gospel and has a heart to see people grow and develop a love for God's Word.  His Favorite Bible Teacher is Pastor Joe Focht of Calvary Chapel Philadelphia. He has many favorite Bible verses, but stands on Psalm 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer".
